Dr. Wendi Wardlaw spent 10 years in the United States Army Dental Corps. She worked as a dental assistant, dental hygienist and dental technician, placing and carving dental restorations. As one dedicated to growth, she also trained as an Expert in Field Medical Training, in the Operating Room, and Emergency Medicine. She has managed multiple dental offices to include Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the Oral Surgery of South East Asia.
After serving 10 years’ active duty Army and growing as far as she could go she honorably discharged and went straight into the historic Howard University College of Dentistry for further training. Motivated with an Inspired Purpose while at Howard University, Dr. Wendi completed 2 years of summer externship at Columbia University school of Dental and Oral Surgery with a focus on accessing the under served for care. She went on to complete a post-doctoral degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry with an emphasis on community health, outreach and access to care from Columbia University in NYC.
From NYC, she moved to Florida and open her dental practice, Stoneybrook Dental of Winter Garden, Fl. in 2008. Stoneybrook Dental has been selected by dental peers 5 years in a row as an Orlando Top Dental Practice in Orlando Magazine. Both Stoneybrook Dental and Inspired Purpose, were voted Reader’s Choice, Top Dental Practice and Elite Doctors from Orlando Style Magazine for the past 2 years. We are blessed to announce the amazing honor of being named Woman of the Year 2016 by The Orlando Style Magazine. Dr. Wendi also serves in the ministry of the syndicated gospel radio angel, “The Liz Black Show”, Inspired Purpose has an educational branch we call Dr. WendiDDS. This dental/health educational segment is called “A Healthy Mouth is a Healthy You” and because of
Dr. Wendi worked in outreach for most of her adult life and in 2003 she initiated her first outreach missions aboard and shortly after formed the nonprofit Dentistry Ministries which grew into the now multilayered and multifunctional Inspired Purpose, Inc.

Dr. Wendi Wardlaw is just starting to serve, grateful to be a vessel of a God one cannot out give. The team of Inspired Purpose is diverse, living and moving.
