Wendi Wardlow, DDS
Founder/CEO
Dr. Wendi Wardlaw began her dental career as the lowest ranking enlisted soldier, a private in the United States Army Dental Corps. While serving active duty for 10 years she attended college at night. From dental assistant to doctor from private to sergeant, Dr. Wendi credits her diverse background as steps for the foundation, passion, outreach, and dentistry of today.
Reaching higher, she received her doctorate from the prestigious, Howard University College of Dentistry. Motivated with an Inspired Purpose, she went on to complete a post-doctoral degree in Advanced Education in General and Cosmetic Dentistry with an emphasis on community health, outreach and access to care from Columbia University, Dental and Oral Surgery, NYC. More
Mayra Suero-Suero-Wade, DDS, MPH
Mayra Suero-Wade is a licensed, board-certified dentist practicing in New York City and New Jersey. She is pat/time Associate Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM) and provides care to underserved children via her dental care practice; Dentistry In Motion, Inc. She is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery with a combined degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master in Public Health. Her area of interest is providing dental care to the underserved population and had the opportunity to publish a chapter entitled “Meeting the Needs of the Elderly” Dr. Lynn Tepper’s book titled Respite Care. Dr. Suero-Wade completed her undergraduate degree at New York University where she was a language major. More
Candice Cruz, CDAC
It was Candice sincere desire to help others in need that enabled Candice to open her heart and home to homeless youth and at-risk teens in Central Florida. From 2011 to 2015, Candice housed and clothed 72 young women between the ages of 4 to 27 years old. It was with this spirit of compassion, Young Seeds of Virtue (YSV) now Hands Off Inc, was founded to encourage, motivate and inspire young women to
reach and achieve their goals, no matter the obstacles.
HOI has made a lasting impression within the Central Florida community through motivating and educational youth workshops called "Girl Time", various prevention programs that mentor youth in schools, coordinated home visits to support parents with troubled teens and multiple youth outreach conferences. As a certified domestic abuse counselor, Candice was compelled to begin an emergency safe house initiative through HOI called, “The Colletta
House”. More
